ANTHROPOLOGIE & AIR PLANTS

/      a mini homeware haul...

since decorating my room earlier this year - see this post - i've very slowly been selecting a few new additions to personalise the space in relation to my current tastes. i'm very fussy with interior pieces, as they have to be just-so and a true representation of my style. however if you're a home-planting, anthropologie-obsessed homebody like me, i think we can share in some homeware appreciation for this week's post...

starting with plants, i've been a fan of succulents for a few years so this fresh addition is no surprise, but the air plant is certainly news to me. no soil and only in need of a mist of water a week, its maybe the prettiest, low-maintenance plant i've ever come across. i love its simplicity and de-saturated colour, so altogether i am very happy to have stumbled across this whilst browsing in the garden centre on a sunday - yes, i am one of those people.

secondly, this celestial coaster from anthropologie gives me all the feelings. i love white, but you already knew that, so of course i went for this particular colour-way and simply put, i find that its a really interesting approach to a somewhat boring household object. on a similar note, the anthropologie capri blue candle - mentioned in my recent june favourites - is still holding my interest and  *side note* it creates a lovely ambiance when lit as the flame glows through the jar, which looks so pretty in the evenings.

last of the bunch is fresh bedding. this brushed cotton set from habitat is so damn cosy, i can't explain.   i don't know how socially acceptable it is for a twenty-something to rave about bedding but trust me when i say its good shit. its on sale too, might i add.

next on my list, some amazing prints (suggestions of which are very welcome), jewellery storage and a muji haul...
