__________________________________________________

This month marks both the beginning and end of a whirlwind four weeks interning. A couple of days free from the fashion office and I can certainly say that I learnt a lot, slept only a little and without a doubt, miss it already.
With very little free time to play with clothes and the like, my SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES hold host to only ride-or-die pieces/products used everyday, with a few life-loves thrown in for your reading pleasure (she says, hoping)...

1/ STYLE
grey marl jacket
converses

2/ BEAUTY
m.a.c stone X film noir
m.a.c uninterrupted pro long-wear shadow
m.a.c fix+
m.a.c hush cream highlight
lush dirty springwash shower gel

3/ LIFE
vogue oct issue
south london
iPhone 6
sundays

A lighter jacket has been essential for cold mornings that build their way into bright, sunny afternoons, especially when those days are spent running up and down Oxford Street. Said running (which is only a half-exaggeration, seriously) leads me into my second style favourite: super comfortable CONVERSE. My love for a white sneaker is most definitely reaffirmed and now all I can think about is getting my hands on a brand spanking new addition - ADIDAS SUPERSTARS? Why, I'd love some!

Being an early bird, my make up routine has been well and truly honed down to only my most trusted products. As you can tell, I don't really rate M.A.C... pfffffffffffft. They are all holy grail status products that I use religiously, but if I had to pick just one to recommend, it'd be HUSH for any of you after a beautiful dew.
On the other end of the scale, as for getting home and washing off the day I've been fond of my very minty shower gel, as it serves up the scent and feel of being extra, extra squeaky clean.

For train reading-material, this issues VOGUE was a total winner with my style icon Sienna as the cover girl - the pictures make my head spin, they're just that good. On the job, the notes section in my iPhone was a total life-essential. As for London itself, well its a complete give-in that I am obsessed with the buzz of the busy city, although only when anchored by Sunday mornings spent in bed, ready for another week of commuting to and fro.

Now October is upon us, I can't tell you how excited I am for autumn to get into full-swing. Speaking of which, you can expect my next blog post to be very much catered to this season's said anticipation...

Until then darlings,

XELISHA-MAE

Indecisiveness is a bitch. I wound normally consider myself a pretty clear-sighted person style-wise, but these guys have me well and truly stumped! Fancy helping me decide whether they should stay or go? Here are the points that I’ve weighed up so far…

pros
they are neutral without being black
the print: statement and classic
they fill a definite gap in my shoe collection

cons
a pointed toe is more preferable
the heel: are they too high for everyday?
will I get the wear out of them?

See my struggle? A big part of me thinks if I’m having doubts then undoubtedly trade them in but then again, regret is potentially an even bigger bitch than indecisiveness…

What would you do?

And so my affair with all things shapeless rages on. I admit that its definitely not a fit that flatters but wherever there's a little androgyny, you'll find me, so like my nearest and dearest you may have to become expectant of this sort of sack-like attire. Also, now that autumn is creeping in I can go mad for big-as-a-grizzly-bear jumpers and coats that go from my ears to my ankles, so just remember when you start to see pictures of me seemingly swallowed whole by my own scarf, you were each well-warned...

Speaking of a/w wear, I'm already casting my thoughts to this years 'it' coat. I am forever cold and so I definitely want to invest in something super snug as each and every year I get my choice somehow wrong and end up as a teeth-chattering mess of my former self. Thus far I'm thinking an excessively long number in a grey or navy wool blend. Now all thats left for me to do is think up how on God's green earth I'll ever afford it *face palm x100* and quick too, as I was sufficiently chilly shooting this look!

Whats your a/w wardrobe looking like?

What with cold crisp mornings, hot busy trains and everything that goes in-between, knowing how to dress has been a bit of a disaster currently for us Brits. As soon as I've wrapped my head around the idea of the late summer sun, the weather shifts and I wish I'd wrapped a scarf around me sharpish instead. Basically, its a case of head f**kery at its finest.
A way I've found to combat the confusion however is with this old fellow that - til now - had been living in my under stairs cupboard.

CRITERIA:
neutral: of course.
masculine shape: obviously.
tailoring: duh.

Its as true to my style as you can get and how I ever forgot about it? I just don't know. I've been popping this on (and off, depending) every single day no matter the outfit nor the occasion.
Holy grail status?: Hells yes.

What's been your transitional go-to?

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: Going into the ITV studio to watch the This Morning fashion segment live <3
__________________________________________________________

Wow. This week.

My feet are raw and my eyes are drooping on this 7:37 to Waterloo, but it’s easily been the most exciting few days, ever-ever. EVER.
As some of you already know, I’m interning at ITV THIS MORNING as a style intern (read as: all of you definitely know as I’ve gone on…and on…and on about it). Anyway, its left little room for my many mutterings over here so I apologise if this latest post isn’t up to par but I figured with what little time I do have, I’d clue you in on my average day at work…

09:30/ car into oxford street
10:00/ store returns
12:30/ meet w the fashion producer
12:45/ buying for friday’s shoot
14:30/ tube to studio
15:00/ lunch
15:30/ organise fashion cupboard for next segment
17:30/ steam
18:00/ home time

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m also lucky enough to watch the fashion segments with Gok etc. live from the studio and so I am the happiest sleepy girl there was. My IG is gradually becoming fuller with London-themed photos and such from my ventures out, but over the next three weeks hopefully I’ll be able to find a very nice volunteer to snap some ootd’s for ELISHA-MAE I WEAR THIS? The train is about to pull in now so I’m going to have to dash off,

Until the next time lovelies,
